In a hyper digital world, where images have become throw away, print still prevails. It’s permanent and ever lasting. Every issue and cover of a magazine has to be true to the title on the masthead, so consistent; but still be new and attention grabbing.
No one does this better than The New York Times Magazine. Photography, type and layouts are all beautifully considered. Every issue consistently pushes visual boundaries and stays fresh each time. For a mainstream publication it’s impressive to stay the least.
